AVAILABLE POSITIONS
BREAKFAST COOK
This seasonal position runs from May through October and supports our nightly cabin service. Responsibilities include preparing & serving breakfast each morning as well as interacting with our guests. A strong attention to detail is an absolute must. The ideal candidate is an engaging self-starter and a problem solver who can think on their feet. Must be available to work weekends and mornings. At least 2 years prior kitchen experience required.
KITCHEN SERVICE
This seasonal position runs from May through September. You will be working closely on the line with
Erin French and the TLK team for our nightly dinner service. This is a highly visible, fast paced role that requires grace under pressure along with a strong attention to detail, well-honed presentation and plating skills, and a well-developed ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will be confident but humble. Must be available to work evenings and weekends. 5+ years restaurant kitchen experience is required.
SEASONAL GARDENER
This seasonal, part-time position runs from April through October. With a focus on the building and grounds around the Lost Kitchen, responsibilities include care and maintenance for our current flower gardens, building out garden beds for edible flowers, herbs, etc., general garden and grounds maintenance such as weeding and pruning, seasonal plantings and light landscaping such as mulching, edging and pea stone & wood chip spreading. Deep passion for the outdoors and gardening required. Experience required.
HOUSEKEEPING
This is a key seasonal support team position that runs from May through October. You will play a key role on the TLK team to ensure that our guests feel welcomed and comfortable upon arrival. The devil is in the details with this position and the ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of hospitality and know the importance of paying attention to every detail. Responsibilities include cleaning, maintaining, and restocking our overnight cabins, bedmaking, fire-making, wood stove cleaning, laundry and more. This is a physical and often fast-paced position, and you must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. A demonstrated attention to detail and at least 2 years of experience in a hospitality position preferred.
RETAIL SHOP STAFF
We have part time, full time, seasonal and year-round positions available working in our on-premises retail shop. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to help us nurture this growing piece of the TLK business. Responsibilities will include sales, customer service, managing and stocking displays, and tracking inventory. Attention to detail is a must. 2+ years retail experience and basic computer skills required.
SHIPPING DEPARTMENT
This is a key part time position that supports our online marketplace year-round. Responsibilities include managing and executing fulfillment of all online sales. Tasks may include sales tracking, packing and shipping boxes, creating shipping labels, ordering, and tracking inventory, reporting customer issues, etc. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a well-developed ability to multi-task and perform under pressure. Basic computer skills required. Experience in a similar position is preferred.
