KITCHEN PREP
This key seasonal day shift position runs from May through October and supports all aspects of dinner service planning at The Lost Kitchen. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, detail-oriented self-starter with a passion for food and people. Responsibilities include all tasks necessary for prepping the nightly menus and the TLK kitchen for dinner service. A highly tuned attention to detail is a must. At least 3 years professional kitchen experience is required.
GENERAL PREP
This seasonal daytime position runs from May through October and includes day shift work in our prep kitchen tending to dishes, helping with laundry, prepping the dining room for service as well as a variety of other cleaning and assisting tasks that may arise. Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required.
HOUSEKEEPING
This is a key seasonal support team position that runs from May through October. You will be playing a key role on the TLK team to ensure that our guests feel welcomed and comfortable upon arrival. The devil is in the details with this position and the ideal candidate will have a keen understanding of hospitality and know the importance of paying attention to every detail. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining our overnight cabins, bedmaking, fire-making, woodstove cleaning, laundry and more. A demonstrated attention to detail and at least 2 years of experience in a hospitality position preferred.
SHIPPING DEPARTMENT
This is a key year-round, part time position that supports our online marketplace. Responsibilities include managing and executing fulfillment of all online sales. Tasks include sales tracking, packing and shipping boxes, creating shipping labels, ordering and keeping track of inventory, reporting customer issues, etc. This role requires a strong attention to detail as well as a well-developed ability to multi-task and perform under pressure. Basic computer skills preferred. Experience in similar position required.
